Personalized Totes

You may not subject your handbags and monogrammed totes to the same scrutiny you give a pair of jeans, but perhaps you should. The right handbag can flatter your shape almost as much as the right pair of jeans and there are easy steps to follow to find a bag that is in proportion to your figure.
When shopping for personalized totes, you should look for a shape that is opposite of your body type. If you are tall and thin then look for a slouchy, rounded bag, and if you are short and voluptuous you can play off opposites by choosing a bag that is tall and rectangular or long and sleek. Basically the more rounded your figure, the more structured your bag should be.
In addition to the shape, the size of the embroidered handbags should also be in proportion to your figure. Because your eye is drawn to the bag, it will automatically accentuate whatever part of the body it comes near. While the shape should oppose your body type for maximum flattery, the size of the bag should be in proportion to your figure. For example, a shoulder bag that ends around the hips will play up your hip width. Most women look best with a bag that falls mid-torso because it flatters the waist.
